Women Who Dare: In Conversation

Spend an afternoon with daring women at a WOW (Women of the World) Australia 2021 event as part of Brisbane Festival and the Women Who Dare exhibition and workshop program at Adderton.

Hear from contemporary change makers in a conversation celebrating their contributions and looking at the different pathways, tools and experiences they are using to build momentum and make lasting cultural and social change including; Janine Hendry who harnessed the energy for the 2021 March4Justice, Chair of GetUp Carla McGrath and one of the founders of the ‘Home to Bilo’ campaign on behalf of the Murugappan family Angela Fredricks in a conversation facilitated by ABC Brisbane presenter Kelly Higgins-Devine.

The afternoon will also include a performance from Voices of Colour and the opportunity to participate in activities aligned with the exhibition.

This event is part of the Momentum series by WOW Australia at Brisbane Festival. To find out more, or purchase a Festival Pass to all three events, head to the WOW Australia website.
