Play with colour in this pop-surrealist ceramic painting workshop as you make creativity count by crafting a pledge for social action on a handmade ceramic #trophyforchange.
Social change can sometimes seem too hard but one small change can have an immense impact on others, you just need a starting point. Elise will help you turn those thoughts into a vision and share ways you can use social media to make a positive social change. Bonnie will teach you underglaze techniques to translate your pledge for change onto your expressive #trophyforchange.

Meet Elise Stephenson
Elise is co-founder of Social Good Outpost and is passionate about empowering women and driving social change. An award-winning researcher, strategist and impact entrepreneur, Elise works with startups, non-profits, social enterprises and change-makers across Australia and is recognised by Google, the Foundation for Young Australians and the United Nations Australia Association.
Meet Bonnie Hislop
The workshop is facilitated by ceramic artist Bonnie Hislop who specialises in hand-built illustrative ceramics. With over 20 years’ experience in ceramics, she has garnered a following for her colourful pop-surrealist creations. More recently, she has launched Dabbler Studio, and ceramic hand-building studio with Brisbane’s growing clay community in mind, designed to support all levels of experience and creative goals.
Please note: This is a ceramic painting workshop with all trophies pre-made by Bonnie Hislop.
Trophies can be collected from Adderton in person approximately one week after the workshop during Adderton opening hours: Tuesday to Friday 10am to 2pm, Saturday and Sunday 10am to 4pm. You will be notified by email when your trophy is ready to collect.
