Paint a Cup of Caring

13 and 27 February, 1pm to 3pm
Suitable for: Adults
Cost:  $50

In this contemplative and hands-on ceramic painting workshop, you will be led by an experienced ceramicist in different techniques to decorate your provided hand-crafted magnolia teacup and saucer.

Be inspired by the stories of compassionate care and kindness shown to people in need and learn about the significance of the Magnolia to the Brisbane Mercy story. Then consider a word or phrase for kindness to add inside the cup to be revealed when sipping from it later.

Once completed, the teacup will be professionally fired for participants to collect from Adderton, one week after the workshop.

The workshops cater to all skill levels; beginners through to advanced level participants are welcome to attend. Afternoon tea is provided by The Good Cup Café.

The workshop is facilitated by a ceramic artist from Monte Lupo Studio and Art Gallery.  Monte Lupo creates beautiful handmade ceramic and textile artworks and homewares, and provides employment opportunities for people living with disability.
